2016 wrap up

Last year, Silverfox Management models made the headlines – for very good reasons.

Over the last year, we have worked hard to raise awareness of the rise of the older model.

We represent people at the top of their game and they intend to stay there a long time proving that modelling is now a timeless profession.

It used to be the case that your life as model was over once you got to 30, sometimes even younger. All that has changed and we’ll keep representing models over the age of 30, 40, 50 and beyond.

In 2016, our models made their mark in the media. In November, the Herald Sun featured our very own Joyce Carey, the heroine of the age positive movement. Joyce featured in Take 5 magazine and she and her daughter, Glenys, believe it’s never too late to claim the spotlight.

In October, the Sun Herald and Today Extra lent their support to the age positive movement. Jenna Clarke’s piece in the Sun Herald quoted our founder, Brigitte Warne.

“A lot of women are not OK with greying hair and wrinkles, which is why we need more of them represented in fashion and the media.”

Hear, hear!

We also boosted the profiles of our signings – proving that age is no indicator when it comes to confidence and attraction.

What will 2017 bring? More of the same, we hope. We continue to search for older models – our only requirements being aged 30 to 90+ and plenty of confidence – and we promote our mission to change the face of advertising and the media.
